Editorial, Book Illustration, Repeat Patterns, and more.

Editorial Covers:

I love to tell stories with my work. Editorial projects are a great way to explore serious topics whilst finding the hope within them. I particularly enjoy demonstrating the benefits of getting out into the fresh air, and the wonderful feeling of seeing the natural light dapple through leaves.

Local National Trust Properties:

Sense of place and connection between history, nature and people fascinates me. The aim of this project was to produce a series of illustrations based on local National Trust properties for a range of products suitable for a gift shop, including greetings cards, fridge magnets, and keyrings.

Book Illustration:

There really is nothing like reading a good book. When illustrating, I enjoy hiding extra little details that add to the overall story and compliment the text.

Repeat Pattern Designs:

Patterns are everywhere, and provide an opportunity to really play with colour, subject and form. I enjoy finding new contexts for my work.

Product and 3D Design:

Combining 3D and 2D work is something that has become invaluable to my practice. Designing and making 3D work allows me to experiment with form and texture. My experience includes making pop-up books, toy design, model making, and most recently using Nomad Sculpt to create 3D versions of my characters ready to be taken into Augmented Reality (AR).
